Request for Proposal  For Prop 84 Short Term Basins Pumps and Motors 

You are invited to submit a sealed Proposal for furnishing and installing pumps and motors to Panoche Drainage District for the Short Term Storage Basins Pumps & Motors project.  The work includes furnishing and installing four (4) pump and motor units.

The Proposal and other data submitted by the bidder will form the basis of the Contract for the work.  Proposals are to be submitted in ink without alterations and with amounts in figures and signatures in writing.

Each bid must be enclosed in a sealed envelope addressed to the Board of Directors of Panoche Drainage District, endorsed “Bid to furnish and install Pumps and Motors for Panoche Drainage District,” and must either be mailed in time to be received by, or delivered to the Board of Directors at the Panoche Drainage District office located at 52027 W. Althea Avenue, Firebaugh, CA 93622 prior to 2:00 p.m. (PDT) on May 12, 2022.  The mailing address of said Board is 52027 W. Althea Avenue, Firebaugh, California, 93622.  Proposals may be withdrawn prior to, but not after, the time stated above. You may be represented at the opening of the bids if you so desire.

Bids will be opened and read in public at the office of the District at the above-stated date and time.

The Project is a public works project within the requirements of Division 2, Part 7, Chapter 1 of the California Labor Code, and that each Bidder and all Subcontractors are required to be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations (“DIR”) pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5 at the time of bidding. This Project is subject to prevailing wages under Labor Code Section 1771.

The Contract Documents, which are this Notice To Bidders, the Proposal, the Specifications, and the drawings, may be secured at the office of Summers Engineering, Inc., 887 North Irwin Street, Post Office Box 1122, Hanford, California, 93232, (559) 582-9237 after April 11, 2022.

The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities in the bid, and to postpone the date of bid opening.
